Cancellation & Refund Policies

• All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email.
• Refunds are processed through Redsys within 14 business days of approval. The exact date the amount appears in your account depends on your bank.
• Certain services may contain specific refund conditions outlined in their brochure. These will take precedence over the general policy.
• Under Spanish consumer protection law, you may be entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal unless the service has started with your prior consent. By purchasing time-sensitive or customized services (e.g., housing or legal support), you expressly agree to waive this right.

HOUSING PLANS

WELCOME HOME HOUSING PLAN

• If your visa is rejected, you may be eligible for a refund of €270 or the option to defer your plan to the next intake at no extra cost.
• To qualify, you must submit your refund request along with the official visa rejection letter within the same academic year.
• If the student does not inform us of their arrival in Spain, or fails to select a room within 30 days of arriving in Barcelona, the service will be considered used and non-refundable.

LOCAL NEST HOUSING PLAN

• If you find accommodation independently after we have begun your request and sent housing options, a €100 service fee will be deducted from your refund.
• If we arranged in-person visits, an additional €50 per visit will be deducted.
• Refund requests must be submitted within 1 month of purchase.

INSURANCE

• Insurance may be canceled only in case of visa rejection.
• A 25% administrative fee will apply.
• You must notify us at least 72 hours before the policy start date to qualify.

EDUCATION

• All academic programs are delivered by Spanish universities or business schools and promoted by BarcelonaStudents.
• Tuition fees are paid directly to the institution, and any refund is subject to their internal policies.
• The educational consultancy service is non-refundable, as our team begins working immediately upon confirmation.

LEGAL SERVICES

Legal services are non-refundable once any process has started, including consultations, document preparation, or submissions.

TRIPS

• Trips are organized by registered travel agencies (e.g., SOMEDAY HOLIDAY 2013 SL) and promoted by BarcelonaStudents.
  By booking, students accept the specific cancellation and refund terms listed in each trip description. Some rates or offers may be non-cancellable or non-refundable.
• Changes or cancellations must be done according to the instructions in the trip confirmation email.

INTERNSHIP

• This service is managed by BarcelonaStudents or trusted collaborators.
• It becomes non-refundable once the search process begins.
• If no suitable internship is found based on the student’s initial request, a full refund will be issued.

PRICES & TAXES

• Prices shown include applicable taxes and are based on current exchange rates at the time of publication.
• We reserve the right to adjust prices in the event of tax changes or currency fluctuations.

ALTERATIONS BY BARCELONASTUDENTS

If we are unable to provide a purchased service, the student may choose between:

• Termination of the service with a full refund, or
• Replacement with an equivalent service, or
• Transfer of the service to another person, where applicable.

BarcelonaStudents reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. It is the user’s responsibility to review these conditions before making a purchase.

IMAGE AND PRIVACY RIGHTS

• During events and trips, we may take photos and videos for promotional purposes.
• By participating, you accept the possibility of appearing in these materials.
• All copyrights remain the property of BarcelonaStudents.
