INSURANCE
The insurance can be canceled and a refund can be made, minus 25% of the penalty fee, only in case of visa refusal and by notifying us at least 72 hours before the start date of the insurance.
ACCOMMODATION / HOUSING SERVICE
You will be eligible to receive a refund of less than 220€ if your visa was rejected, or the housing plan can be changed to the next intake of your studies without any extra cost.
The refund request and visa rejection letter should be submitted in the same academic year.
If the student doesn’t inform us about their arrival or chooses the room during the first month of their arrival in Barcelona, this service will be automatically canceled and cannot be reused afterward. The student needs to inform about their arrival date at least 2 weeks in advance.

PRICES
- We use the payment platform Redsys to refund the clients. We generally issue the refunds 2 to 7 working days after it has been approved. However, the amount may not appear in your account for up to 10 days. The time it takes for the amount to show up in your account is completely out of our control and it depends on the payment platform and your bank and the regulations. If you have not received a refund after a few weeks, please contact your bank.
ALTERATIONS BY BARCELONASTUDENTS
BarcelonaStudents is committed to providing its students with all the services contracted through the programs-offer contained on its website, with the conditions and characteristics stipulated. You will be exempted from this obligation when:
- The minimum number of participants expected in each event or trip is not reached (by default, 20 people). Causes sufficient, which include those cases in which the Agency, despite acting with due foresight and due diligence, can not provide the services contracted for reasons that are not attributable to it, both understood according to the legislation in force.
- For the termination of the service without penalty.
- By replacing the affected service with another one without penalty or transferring it to another person if the conditions admit name changes.
BarcelonaStudents maintains the right to add, modify, or remove the conditions at any given time without the obligation to notify the users in advance. It is solely the user’s responsibility to read and understand these conditions before placing an order. Failure to do so does not ground for a partial or full return by default.
Certain products may include their own refund condition mentioned in the description of the product. If a product has its own refund condition, that condition will take precedence over this Refund Policy.
