The “Arraigo por Formación” or Arraigo for Studies is a temporary residence authorization that may be granted to foreign citizens who have resided continuously in Spain for two years, whether legally or illegally. This permit allows individuals to pursue an educational training or specialization course and subsequently work upon completion, provided they present an employment contract.
